The We Vibe 3 was sent to me for review, and I was so excited when I received it, this one has a US plug on it but when you buy it in the UK it will come with a UK plug on it.
The We Vibe 3 comes in a nicely designed box, similar to a box that smellies and things come in at Christmas, the design on the box is pretty plain, just a picture of the toy, and its charger and a few details about what the toy does.
When you open the box the vibe is already inside its charger which also doubles as a storage case for it. The charger is one of those clever connector free ones, where you just stand the We Vibe and the remote in the slots and it charges it without having to push any wires into the vibe itself, this means that the vibe is completely sealed and therefore waterproof and lovely and easy to clean. In-fact it is so waterproof you can completely submerge it for play in the bath.
I like the design of the case, it is so simply designed it says absolutely nothing about what might be inside it even with the small branding on the front it just looks like something that you might find in any bathroom.
When you plug in the charger the light on the front of the charger lights up orange, the light flashes when the remote is in on its own or it is empty and stays on when the vibe is in and charging. The initial charge needs to be for 24 hours (this took some patience believe me) and then after that it should charge up withing a couple of hours, the vibe holds its charge well and I have used it quite a lot and not had the problem of it running out on me yet. According to the FAQ section on the We Vibe site it is not possible to overcharge this vibrator, meaning that if you wanted to you could leave it plugged in all the time, ensuring that it is always fully charged and ready for action when you are.

The vibrator itself is shaped like a C it is firm but flexible and nice and slim to ensure that you can wear it during intercourse without any discomfort. It has a remote control with a reach of about 3 metres which you can use to turn it on and off and flick through the various settings. The remote control is one of the differences between the We Vibe 2 and the We Vibe 3, I think that this remote is an excellent addition to this toy as I can imagine that without it the button on the vibe could be tricky to operate during the heat of the moment.
The other main difference is that the We Vibe 3 is 40% more powerful than the We Vibe 2, so if its more power that you are after this is the one to buy.
The We Vibe can be used with or without the remote with the same effect, the remote won't work if the vibrator is not turned on first, but if you turn it off with the remote you can turn it back on again for approximately the next 30 mins, after that you will need to turn the vibe back on, this is to help save the battery to ensure that you get more play time

I found that the vibrations where nice and strong and deep, not buzzy and annoying like some cheaper vibrators tend to be, they are not to loud either, although I found that they seemed louder during sex. This is the type of toy that I think you could use in a shared house quite easily, the recharging unit it nice and discrete, the vibrations are nice and quiet and even if you left it out I don't think it really looks like a sex toy.
